I don't know if any of you know Stephanie Bembenek and her family, but they need some extra thoughts and prayers.

They just found out two weeks ago that their youngest child, Journey, has a tumor in her liver and two in her lungs. The mass is so big in her lungs that it cannot be operated on. Journey will turn 1 on Halloween. They are in Childrens' Hospital in Milwaukee and Journey is in critical condition. She took a turn for the worst on Monday and they didn't think she would make it through the night. The doctors are skeptical that she will even survive to her 1st birthday.

This is the family that lost their family business (the car dealership on Hwy 17) earlier this year.

Please keep Journey and her family in your prayers. I don't know them real well, but I've gotten to know Stephanie this past year at the Y through classes and her son and Maggie have been in swimming lessons together for awhile. They are the nicest family.

I pray for a peace that only God can bring. I pray He holds them tight in His hands in all of this.
