Post Mexican Beef and Beans
Made this last night, and everyone liked it. Super easy and fast (my 2 faves!).

Mexican Beef and Bean Casserole

1 pound lean ground beef

2 cans (15-16 oz each) pinto beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

1/2 cup mild chunky salsa

1 tsp chili powder

1 cup shredded Mexican cheese (or whatever you have)

1. Heat oven to 375.

2. Brown beef and drain.

3. Mix beef, beans, tomato sauce, salsa and chili powder in ungreased 2 qt. dish.

4. Cover and bake 40-45 minutes, stirring once or twice, until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Sounds yummy, but what kind of rating did Jack give it? I'll only try Seidl recipes based on Jack's rating system. Smile

Of course, Jack started by complaining about it. He did up eating it all, but there was no mention of a "checkmark."
